Day 6 & 7- Reykjavik, Round Two

Today we headed back to Reykjavik, stopping at a few places on the way to take some pictures. Were were staying the Kvosin downtown hotel again and had planned to meet up with Anna and Magnus. They have two kids as well and now our families will meet. This was so exciting for us! If you would've told us this would happen years ago we would've laughed. We had a beer and visiting for a bit and it was perfect. We didn't want to say goodbye so Anna and I had planned to meet up just ONE more time later that evening.

We walked around the city today exploring anything we missed last week. I just HAD to go back to Seabaron and get more soup and we all wanted hot dogs again. No rotten shark this time. We went to the Ice bar to pass some time. It was a good experience for the kids, but ehh what do you expect from a tourist trap.

Anna came by the hotel again that evening. We laughed and talked like we were never separated by distance and time. What a great cap to the end of the trip!

The next day we were heading home. We had some time to kill before the airport so we stopped at the Troll House, The Giantess in the Mountain. This was a great stop for the kids. It has a giant door and chair outside. It's right by the ocean and easy to find. If you need something to do before the flight, this is great and there are a few restaurants nearby in Keflavik as well.

Now we are headed back to the airport. After buying a few last bottles of Iceland Liquor and chocolate, we are headed home. What a trip! Where to next?
